Suji graduated from UBC Dentistry BDSc (DH) in 2014. She was the recipient of the University’s Excellence in Patient Care Award.

Today as the Clinic Director of Simply Smile, she specializes in LED Teeth Whitening in Burnaby.

Suji believes in providing a warm and comfortable setting where patients can relax and unwind. Through her training as a hygienist, she understands the essential role dental health plays in overall wellness and disease prevention.

As a passionate advocate for preventative health and patient education, she incorporates optional elements like oral cancer screenings and preventative treatments as part of her holistic approach to dental care. Her goal is to help patients achieve healthier teeth for lifelong smiles.

Outside of work, Suji actively volunteers her skills in the Downtown Eastside. She works with a team, providing educational talks and hygiene services to vulnerable people who face barriers to accessing quality dental care and treatment. Her goal is to help people understand the role dental hygiene plays in health, so they can live healthier, more fulfilling lives—with fewer trips to the dentist.

Fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandy is a registered Dental Hygiene Practitioner with over a decade of experience in helping people of all ages and cultures create and maintain their beautiful, healthy smiles.

Having successfully completed her Bachelor’s of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry in 2014 alongside Clinic Director Suji, Mandy was awarded the Hu Friedy Golden Scaler Award of Clinical Proficiency for her excellent skills in the clinical setting. Valuing the health of both mind and body, Mandy’s goal is to work together with her patients, rather than on her patients, to move towards their oral health goals with utmost transparency and support.

Outside of the office, Mandy was also a Clinical Instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry aiding students of the Dental Hygiene Entry-to-Practice Program in honing their clinical skills, and has been awarded numerous Teaching Awards throughout her years of instructing. Mandy may spend most of her time now in a clinical office setting, but strongly believes in life-long learning and strives to keep up with the most modern dental hygiene techniques and philosophies of care.

Aime was born in Mexico and moved to Vancouver in 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree and completed her Dental Hygiene Diploma in January 2017.

Since then, she has been practicing dental hygiene. Aime draws on her teaching background to educate patients about hygiene procedures.

One of her greatest satisfactions is seeing her patients leave with healthier smiles and noticing improvements in their oral hygiene during their routine visits.
